Snake Removal

Snakes cause few problems, and the few they do are relatively benign. Some of the larger species may cause problems around poultry houses, occasionally taking chicks or eggs, but—except for the venomous species— snakes are not a threat to humans or their pets. If you encounter a snake you should contact a professional who is equipped to handle your situation.

Rat Extermination

Rats are a huge pest problem: they eat and contaminate food, they cause damage to homes and structures, and they transmit diseases to humans and other animals. Rats will make a home anywhere they can access food and cover, including farm buildings, under houses, rubbish dumps and even sewage systems. Rat bites and scratches can result in disease and rat-bite fever. Rat urine is responsible for the spread of leptospirosis, which can result in liver and kidney damage. It can also be contracted through handling or inhalation of scat. Complications include renal and liver failure, as well as cardiovascular problems. Lymphocytic choriomeningitis (LCMV), a viral infectious disease, is transmitted through the saliva and urine of rats. Some individuals experience long-term effects of lymphocytic choriomeningitis, while others experience only temporary discomfort. One of the most historically dangerous rat-borne diseases is the bubonic plague, also called “Black Plague,” and its variants. Transfer occurs when fleas from the rats bite human beings. Fleas transported on rats are considered responsible for this plague during the Middle Ages, which killed millions. From the transmission of bubonic plague to typhus and hantavirus, rat infestations can prove harmful to human health. Rats also are a potential source of allergens. Their droppings, dander and shed hair can cause people to sneeze and experience other allergic reactions. Diseases transmitted by rats fall into one of two categories: diseases transmitted directly from exposure to rat-infected feces, urine or bites and diseases indirectly transmitted to people by an intermediate arthropod vector such as fleas, ticks or mites. While the following list of diseases or medical conditions are all associated with rats, most are not commonly encountered in the United States.

Squirrel Removal

What problems do squirrels cause? Squirrels can squeeze through a hole the size of a golf ball. Squirrels chew through soffits, fascia boards, siding, wood, metal, and shingles to gain access to your attic. Once inside your home, squirrels damage attics by chewing wires, ripping up insulation, and defecating in the attic. squirrels can transmit diseases to people through direct contact, such as a squirrel bite or scratch, or through indirect contact, such as contact with urine, feces, or contaminated soil or water. Squirrels are typically harmless, rarely biting unless they’ve been cornered or feel threatened. They are capable of carrying and transmitting a handful of diseases.

Bird Removal

It’s hard to imagine these small, winged creatures being a problem. As a business owner or resident, a bird doesn’t seem like a serious threat. After all, they seem innocent and unassuming enough—yet the truth is that bird damage costs the US tens of millions of dollars each year. Birds are known to be a serious threat to businesses all across the nation. They can cost you money, time, and customers. That can be hard to believe, but they pose a real threat to businesses. Here are just some of the problems they can cause. They’re Unsanitary If you’ve walked through a city street, odds are that you’ve spotted large amounts of pigeon droppings on the sidewalk. It’s normal to feel revolted at the sight, as the droppings are filthy. Left unattended, birds will do something similar to your business—they will make it appear filthy by leaving their droppings outside. That may not seem that bad to you, but it can have a serious effect on how the customer perceives your business. It will tarnish your brand and could make your offices appear less-than-professional. This sort of negative reaction could cost you many customers, and it could make the difference between a successful business and a failed one.

Raccoon Removal

Raccoons should not be allowed to stay in your attic and should be removed as soon as they are discovered. Raccoons can be one of the most destructive animals in Texas. Raccoons are responsible for over $2 billion annually throughout the United States. The damage that raccoons can do while in homes are destroying A/C duct work, soiling and smashing of attic insulation, damages to roofs, soffts, and attic vents. In addition to the damage they do to a home they can also pose a threat to your family’s health by possibly bringing in diseases that are easily spread to humans. Raccoon infestations are on the rise in the surrounding cities of Montgomery & Walker Counties. If you have discovered a raccoon in the attic, chimney or other part of your home contact our Wildlife Control Experts immediately to have the raccoon evicted.

Bat Removal

Bats can be unwanted guests in your home and attic. Expert bat removal services, exclusion and guano cleanup.
